i was reading in the papers other day about sachin tendulkar – in practice session after playing straight for considerable time, he went to the bowling coach and asked if he can play ‘across’ now. in that very incident there is a lot to see and learn – may be he is one of the greatest batsmen ever and played so much cricket – but still he is listening and doing as you are asked to do. humble. discipline. the passion he has for cricket, its like he cannot do anything else apart from cricket. the bowling coach replied ‘not yet’. sachin went back and started playing straight until the coach was satisfied and it was after another twenty minutes that the coach asked him to play across. yesterday he made his 44th odi century.

federer lost in us open final 😦
